Leveraged products are great tools, they are significantly less risky and less costly than trading on margin. Why take away leveraged and inverse ETFs but leave the ability to buy on margin or sell short?
Please don't try to fix something that isn't broken.
I should have the same rights and privileges as any other company or individual with regards to ALL stock market investment choices, including leveraged and inverse funds. First and foremost, the stock market is there for the public good, not the privileged few. I am fully capable of understanding the risks of investing and it is my responsibility to bear those risks. It is FINRA's
As an investor of 40 years, I can attest to the usefulness and simplicity of use of inverse and leveraged funds. They have saved me thousands of dollars Please do not "fix what isn't broken". MP
This limitation feels nothing more than an attempt to prevent experienced retail investors from investing in funds that can be used as a hedge in case of a market downturn. Additionally, public investments should be available to all the public and not just a privileged few.
I do not agree with this regulation
I honestly believe that any investors or traders should know their own risk and regulators should not interfere with it as there are thousands and thousands of full time traders who could lost their passion and jobs if regulators will stop the leveraged etfs!!!
Thanks,
Sujan
Don't mess with the markets, the Fed/FOMC has already screwed things up enough
As a long time private investor, I have the right to decide on my investment strategies, not a regulator. Specifically, I recently invested in an inverse fund tailored for the current inflationary environment. I am well educated, and resent being forced to take a special test to be allowed to invest in ANY equity or debt instrument. A regulator controlled decision will damage my investment
To whom it may concern:
I believe there are enough regulations concerning the purchasing of leveraged and inverse funds. There is no reason to make additional requirements for the purchase of these investment products.
I oppose having restrictions placed on leveraged ETF;s for the following reasons: 1. There are many individual securities (stocks and funds) that are more volatile than leveraged ETFs 2, Volatility is not risk and more meaningful is the trend of its moving average. e. Volatility provide investors an opportunity to achieve their objective in a shorter time period. Rather than impose restrictions
