Please don't restrict me from making MY choices.
I use the leverage etfs to cover the 3 days I would need in some cases for funds available. In other words I use a method that follows the trend and goes long and short depending current conditions. So I use a double and double inverse at 50% of my total amount to get the same effect of go full size long and short. If it was not for these funds I would not be able to do this in my small account.
I have been trading Leveraged ETF's for several years and I know the risk. I have had stocks go to zero and ADR's disappear without notice. I feel that I have the right to trade what I want and it should not be regulated for certain individuals. Why is it OK for some and then not for others?
Please let me be the judge of what I want to trade
I do not believe regulators should take away the ability to invest my own money in inverse or leveraged funds. Every investor is given proper disclosures before they invest their own money and should take precautions where they see fit.
I probably would not need to hedge if our dear Government would stop printing money out of thin air, live within there budget and go back to a gold standard - if we have any left. An entity that makes 39 thousand a year spends 57 thousand a year is bankrupt. Clean up your own house first.
I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST!
I have the right to invest in different stock options. Way does it make it right for the wealth to be able to buy different stocks. When middle class person has just as much right as anyone else.
Leveraged and inverse funds are needed for proper price discovery and liquidity. These products can be used to hedge a larger portfolio and thus reduce volatility not increase it. The much lower daily volume of leveraged funds compared to the volume of the base product clearly shows that these products are being used at a much, much lower volume and by many, many fewer traders. There is a reason
Don't tamper with share holder ability to by inverse stocks.
I do not wish for regulators to be able to chose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Such public investments should be available to all of the public not just the privileged.
I strongly object to having to use any special processes such as passing a test before being able to invest in public securities such as leveraged and inverse funds. Am fully capable of understanding
