I am totally against this proposal to increase the complexity and difficulty of investing in leveraged funds. I'm an adult Citizen of the US, a Veteran, and do NOT need the Government to make my decisions on how much risk I want to take and when. It's MY CHOICE to risk, win or lose. Are you telling me if I don't have certain amount of money, I cant do it. Isn't this exactly

I use levered funds such as TQQQ and Reverse levered funds such as SQQQ to trade for the purpose of supplementing my IRA savings, since I am long retired and I have two degrees in Electrical Engineering and 32 years experience in Research and Development of Geophysical tech. I strongly object to FINRA proposing obstacles to investing in inverse leveraged funds. There is absolutely no intellectual qualification for high net worth investors in complex funds today. Removing investment options for less wealthy but already self-educated investors is just a means to rig markets so that only the wealthy (and often under-educated) can profit from downturns in the market.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. I oppose any restrictions on my options for investing. Rules are already strict enough.
I have the freedom to invest in whatever I want. The government will restrict this to only let the elites gain more money. I am doing whatever I want with the money I earned. Regulate any other investing if you regulate this as well. We need no more federal regulations, especially on decisions I make with my money.
