Investment is our freedom..& right to chose..
I disagree with strong government oversize. I believe anyone that chooses to invest does so at their own risk and as such is responsible to procure the information or education necessary to do so. I believe government regulations of individual choice is wrong.
I personally own triple leveraged funds like tqqq and upro for long term investment. 1) I hope the NetWorth requirement is not set too high. Leveraged fund should not be limited to high NetWorth people only. It's more important to make sure fund operators are well capitalized and have expertise to handle stress scenarios like big down day or prolonged recession.
Please do not limit these types of investments. It is more important to stop Congress from investing in stock that stopping little people from wisely researching and investing!
Public investments should be available for all.
We dont need micro management designed to limit opportunities for people outside of the high net worth category. Please focus on real issues and let individuals manage there own money and risk. We dont need regulation here!
There should not be any new restrictions on the purchase of "complex" investments. In my experience the use of professional asset managers have cost my family money the two times we used them. I am perfectly capable of choosing the type of investments that work for my situation. For your information for every dollar I have lost on my inverse fund I made 9 on my other investments
please dont limit leveraged products, i use them daily to provide trading possibilities. i trade so that i can take an income from my portfolio. this is only one part of what i use but they should not be limited.
Quit trying to protect me from myself! UPRO has made me a millionaire and has taken me to $300,000. Im an attorney and a CPA. I totally understand the risks and rewards. Let me make my own investment decisions!
