Leveraged ETFs have been an equalizer for my middle class family of 5. I wont use money on margin, and leveraged ETFs have allowed me to significantly increase our familys financial security into retirement. We are a young family as my wife and myself are under 40. We understand the risks, and have been able to utilize these financial instruments in a beneficial way that no other options can.
Please vote to keep my right to invest when and how I wish.
Please do not take our ability away from buying and selling Pro Shares. I depend on the income that I generate from writing/selling cover calls from these funds. I have been successfully doing it for some time now. Why should you take this income away from me? My Social Security Benefits are not sufficient for my life needs. Thank you, FRED
Do not stop, limit, or gate in any way my ability to invest in leveraged or inverse funds. I am fully aware there are market risks.
Do not limit my ability to take advantage of these asset classes. I
My savings are invested in these funds and my 401 k is invested in TQQQ etc. my wife has invested in leveraged equities . In case you believed againsst these securities, government should not have allowed in the first instance. Market is sooo low that no one can sell them at a big loss . Please reverse your decision
At 95 I never thought I'd be restricted as an individual investor from inventing in public securities, or have to justify and explain before investing.
Maybe I have lived too long to still be involved in public investments. That same problem seems to be applying in several areas of my life but this is a surprise it is even being considered.
Think about how you may want to be restricted
I, not regulators should be able to choose what investments are best suited for me.
ME!!! NOT YOU should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to ALL of the public, not just the privileged.
I need these inverse ETFs to properly run my personal portfollio. If these funds go away, the only way I can manage my retirement accounts is to buy put options that expire and carry a lot more risk than just a simple inverse ETF. I also like having the leverage. It allows me to add only a fraction of the risk associated with options with better results.
