Individual investors should have available opportunities to invest like professionals without being subject to severe limitations. Being able to invest in leveraged and inverse securities is important to avoid margin or shorting requirements in a negative trending market.

I oppose restrictions on my right to invest in publicly traded leveraged and/or inverse funds. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and know best if they should be a component in my portfolio. Investors should not be required to pass any additional tests or measures in order to own public investments. Public leveraged and/or inverse funds should not be only for the elite

I oppose the language in this proposal. It's systemically exclusionary and creates too high a hurdle for anyone with the will and gumption to go after whatever investments they do choose. As long as anyone can vote. And corporations can have political "voice"- even the less than capable can participate on all levels of an open market.
This is ridiculous these financial regulations are even being considered. I should be able to choose my own investments. Not enough people are taking advantage of these investment options already, not enough people are prepared for retirement, and you just want to make it harder. Its like you want the wealth gap to grow even more.
