It is incomprehensible that small time investing would be restricted. The very fabric of the American dream is based in entrepeneurship and positive money management. To strip us of this ability is a sure sign of a totalitarian state and is shocking to even consider.

I believe it is my right as a free American to choose publicly traded investments I wish to invest in. This right should not be for the ultra rich only. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and the risks involved. I believe we are having too many restrictions imposed on us (US citizens) and this must stop. I am opposed to new rules regarding leveraged and inverse ETFs. I am a seasoned investor and conduct my own research. You should not be babysitting myself or my portfolio. There is plenty of information available already for the public to read and decide for themselves. You are stepping over the line in making this judgement that individuals need monitoring.

I strongly object to proposed regulations which would limit my freedom to invest my own money as I see fit. I view regulations intended to protect me from myself as examples of arrogant government overreach. Legitimate regulations should protect me from the harmful actions of others; not restrict my freedom to choose my own level of risk tolerance.

I do NOT need a test to invest! It's my right to do as I wish. My decision should not be guided by no one except myself.
This is a bad idea, more rules will not help anything. Messing with the free markets is what got us into this mess in the first place.
