Protection of financial and personal customer information is a key responsibility and obligation of FINRA member firms. Under the SEC’s Regulation S-P, firms are required to have policies and procedures addressing the protection of customer information and records. This includes protecting against any anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of customer records and information
I am writing to protest the planned FINRA regulatory notice #22-08 that would restrict my right to invest in leveraged and/or inverse ETF products. These types of investment products are not for everyone but they do serve an important role in hedging and investment strategies for experienced investors who understand and can managed the inherent risks. Furthermore, banning these investment
Leveraged investment is important for my investment strategy. I would like to choose what is best for my investment and do not want to go through any process to buying or selling leveraged equity.
Leveraged investment is one of my strategy. I want to buy or sell leveraged equities that are best for my investment and without going through any special process.
It poses a severe threat towards market fairness. It's like locking people in home because of Flu. Retail traders or investors should be able to freely choose whatever products that fit their trading strategies. Finance is NOT only for the rich or the privileged. We know what leveraged funds are. Also, the liquidity will be severely affected
I have my rights to choose what investment I want to make, whether I have $10 or $10 millions dollars to spare. It should be available to all, not just the privileged. I understand the leveraged and inverse funds and their risks because I do research on them before making the investment. I don't want to take and pass a test to invest in anything. My money, my problem!
I would like to be continued to invest in Proshare-leveraged inverse fund.
I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST and Public investments should be available to all of the public.
I oppose any restrictions by FINRA or any other regulatory bodies on my right to invest in publicly available investments such as leveraged and inverse funds. You couch your actions as protecting individual investors. We do not need your paternalistic [REDACTED]. Take it elsewhere. There should not be any special process, including passing a test or net worth test, or any of that crap to invest
