I want to express my stance on opposing any regulation restricting retail investors from freely purchasing any ETN or ETF instruments. Baring retail investors from participating in these types of trading instruments seeks to only put hurdles in the way of their profitability and ability to grow their portfolios.
There should not be restrictions for trading inverse or
leverage funds. I usually invest in inverse funds that are not leveraged and these funds are put into the same catagory as leveraged funds. They are not the same. I am against any restrictions.
Finra, your interest in protecting investors is admirable, but limiting choices and opportunities is counter to this goal. I not you the regulators should be able to choose public investments that are right for me. Public investments are just that - PUBLIC INVESTMENTS!!!! THEY SHOULDN'T BE JUST FOR THE PRIVILEGED!
I shouldn't have to go throught andy special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities. I don't need or want these measures imposed on me.
