Dear Sirs,
In my opinion FINRA is taking a deceitful step in proposing to restrict an individual's right to invest in Public investments. What you propose is an over reaching "Nanny" solution. People who invest do so with the knowledge there are risks. We win some and we lose some. The dwindling middle class has been affected more from Federal manipulation of the
I want to continue to have the right to invest in leveraged and inverse funds as a risk protection of my overall assets.
The final arbiter of an individual's wealth should always be that individual. This is the only way to ensure a fair, just, and democratic society. Leveraged ETF's are a reasonable tool to help level the playing field and everyone should have access to them who so desires.
Dear FINRA, I will like the freedom to buy securities that accomplish my long term goals. Sometimes, my goals include buying leveraged ETF's. Please do not limit my access to these very important investment tools.
Comments: I do not support FINRAs proposed limits that may restrict access to L&I Funds or to disqualify me from trading L&I Funds or other "complex products". Since I had a strong conviction this way, I enjoyed the wonderful positive returns from a 2x negative fund, TBT. Please do not limit the
I have the right to make MY OWN DECISIONS on ANY investment, including use of leveraged or inverse funds to help grow or protect investments.
We DONT need more regulations. Instead, we need better financial education and the schools at all grades fail to address this.
Comments: how many of you on the FINRA board are responsible for your own retirement? Ill bet you get a pension from the very government that Im betting will make a policy error. When The last fed President promised no more recessions, I wanted to find a way to bet against such arrogance. Not with your money, but mine. Ironically if Im right the IRS will tax me at a higher bracket. But if your
Comments: I have been in this business for over 50 years and one of my primary functions is to educated my client on what they are considering to invest in. It is time well spent so as not to have a customer say you did not tell me this or that. For someone else making the determination that this process was not achieved I am truly disappointed that an investment opportunity I recommended would
