I have traded EFTs for more than 15 years, mostly leveraged, both on the positive and the inverse side, and sometimes both at the same time to hedge my position. I consider it a great way to protect my assets when I or my gurus seem particularly un-certain of the trend. Taking away this mechanism would be a totally ignorant idea, in my opinion. Sure, you need to know what you're doing, but
Removing our ability to protect our assets and ONLY allowing us to be long stocks is criminal. Why cant we protect our investments? You only want us to lose money if the marker goes down? You crooks need to allow us to short if we want to and STOP trying to control markets so much. GET OUT OF THE MARKETS. Let the free markets be free. If we want to short we should be able to.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am an individual investor to stock market in US, and part of my portfolio is consisted of leveraged ones. I like this measure, for it is good way to invest more than available cash or other asset and provide me opportunity to get better result. Please do not restrict this opportunity and let me keep doing what I have been for 10+ years.
Waiting for good news
Dear Sirs, for several years I have been investing in the market and I am well aware of the risks and rewards of the available assets and tools to negotiate them. I am a retired small trader with accounts at three different brokers, therefore I wrote three of these comments, one for each platform. I am an educated person and feel comfortable and aware of my investment proficiency, Please, do not

I, not regulators, should be able to choose the public investment suitable for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. I should not have to go through any special process like passing a test before investing. This is no different from a poll literacy tax. We are intelligent enough to know and understand the risk of any investment.
This is as misguided on the part of FINRA as it gets. The entire regulatory structure is built to support the "long equities all the time" theme. Decades of essentially free money have made publicly traded equities on US exchanges one of the riskiest assets in the world. When the bond market takes the printing press away from the Federal Reserve (it is not a question of if, but when),
Finra, thanks for giving us a way to input our thoughts on 22-08. Leveraged etfs offer the retail investor opportunities to take positions, both long and short, that in the past were only available to large asset managers. While warning labels are justified, we should be able to make up our own decisions on when and if to use leverage and or inverse etfs. Taking a monetary loss on a losing trade
After 40+ years of investing the assets my wife and I own, I think I know what investment products We want to own! I am a VIP investor at Fidelity and buy leveraged and inverse funds. We are aware of the risks, so please don't try "save us" I am reminded of of one of the most "Terrifying" statements any American can hear!! "We're from the Goverment, and We'
I strongly oppose restrictions on my right to invest in publicly traded securities, including leveraged instruments both bullish and bearish. I take the time to understand the risks of these funds, and limit my exposure accordingly.
Leveraged funds are an important part of my portfolio management. During adverse market conditions I use inverse funds for hedging; for multiple reasons I don&#
