Regulators should not interfere with how investors on how or what types of asset classes they can invest in. This is akin to them telling me how to spend my hard earned money. No thank you.

Do you remember the tax act of 1986, it took back what was granted to investors in the 1981 tax act and slammed the entire economy into reverse for about five years. This is the same kind of action.
I would not use inverse ETFs, or short market.
I keep the exposure as s small portion of an overall portfolio, and have a large cash balance. So, using these, I can keep cash % larger.

I am a CFA charter holder and I believe it is every investors right to freely access the entirety of the public securities markets without arbitrary restrictions. Please do not ban leveraged ETFs. They can be a great risk management tool for those who use responsibly.

I strongly object to the proposal of of restricting leveraged and inverse funds as investment tools. No one has the right to tell someone how they can or cannot invest their own money!!
