Hello FINRA, I have been using leveraged ETF's in my portfolio using a strategy based on an algorithm that helps me decide when to buy and sell and I have been successful using this strategy. I have a firm belief that I, not the regulators should be able to choose the investments that are right for myself and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged few.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my portfolio and they help me protect my investments and have enhanced my returns. I currently use them for a limited part of your overall portfolio.
I do not think that there should be any additional criteria for someone to purchase these funds. There is enough information on the web regarding the risks associated with these funds with a simple Google search. A quick 5 minute read will tell you that these are not for an investor that can't tolerate large fluctuations in the fund. I do not need FINRA to protect me from these investments sand I feel like the average investor will do their own research and make a personal decision whether to invest or not to. We do not need more restrictions limiting our investment choices.
