The proposed rules will add more regulations that are not needed. As an individual investor I enjoy access to various products that can be used for any strategy I want to employ. Sometimes a strategy will involve a leveraged or inverse funds, sometimes it maybe about involving cryptocurrency, sometimes it is just about having access to a specific sector.

There are plenty of warnings regarding the use of leverage with stock market investing. As a manager and individual investor, the disclosure and disclaimer hoops are already plentiful. This issue is less significant than the investor confusion created by dual licensing of brokers as RIA reps and Series 7 agents. The BIC rules didn't reduce the confusion.
Please do not restrict my rights to choose what I invest in. Any publicly traded stock should be just that. Public. If I want to buy it I should not have to pass any kind of test. I am just as smart as any regulator and am able to make my own investing decisions.
I’m a new investor learning every day. I do believe the transparency is key anything here is not good. I believe that you guys know what is very good for the company for the stocks and for us so do the right thing thank you
Comment on Short Interest Position Reporting Enhancements; there needs to be a STOP to borrowing/manipulating stocks through Dark Pool trading. Market Makers should NOT be allowed to sell shares that do not exist. Allowing such fraudulent practices violates the law of Supply and Demand.
I’m shocked by the leave of corruption and illegal activity the hedge funds take part in, As bad as I hate to say it, if changed ain’t made towards these criminals i & many other will be stepping away from the US Stock market. Changes need to be made.
Short Interest of any security should be reported same day not T+2 there’s no reason for it to be delayed this allows hedge funds to manipulate data for 48 hours after a short position is taken to then make it seem like people are selling the stock.
There has been very blatant manipulation of meme stocks including AMC and GME, which are both heavily shorted. As a retail investor I feel the game is rigged in favor of the hedge funds. Please make data on short positions more transparent.
This is an overreach by regulatory powers.
As retail participants in the stock market, we are already having to compete with large institutions and automated algorithms.
Having ability to use inverse and leveraged instruments is one of the few ways we can level the playing field.
Please do not make these instruments inaccessible to ordinary people.
A big portion of my portfolio is leveraged index fund and I do not like it when the government tells me I cannot investment them. The alternative for me would be much riskier individual stocks. You want to prevent ppl from risky investments by forcing them to make even riskier investment?
