Want to invest in inverse funds to balance my stock funds.
I oppose you trying to restrict my investment I should be able to decide what is best for me to invest in and should be available to all public. I should not have to go through a special process to invest in public securities.
I oppose the rule that would make it more complex or difficult to buy leveraged funds.
I'm concerned about the proposed restrictions on what investment products we can invest in. I probably wouldn't qualify under them but I subscribe to an investment written by people who would most definitely qualify. I have complete faith in their investment recommendations and invest accordingly. In my view, these restrictions are a bad idea.
I was under the impression that government's financial regulations were put in place to protect the public. I trying don't understand who FINRA is protecting by creating these regulations because it's definitely not me, the average net worth financial investor/consumer. To whom it concerns, the idea that you would restrict certain types of investments to just an elite class of people is completely absurd to me! I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family! This is MY MONEY and I should always have the right to decide where I want to invest that based on what I believe is in my best interest.
I am perfectly capable of trading inverse and leveraged funds, because I manage my portfolio and find them useful in making money. They are no more dangerous than call or put options.
I should not have to go through another bureaucratic process to trade my own account.
I don't understand how you can decide to limit investment opportunities on leveraged funds that I have bought for over a decade. This is absolutely insane. I know what I am investing in and have done well for over 20 years.
