I strongly object to limiting my ability to invest in leveraged securities.
I would like to keep my freedom of choice in investing in leveraged investments
It is the investors right to freely access the entirety of the public securities markets without arbitrary restrictions. As a responsible investor I dont want this right restricted.
Restricting investors from using ETFs to hedge their portfolios is unconstitutional!
It is inconceivable that the government is even considering the possibility of regulating when and how consumers make decisions on their purchases and/or investments. The moment you decide to run our lives is the moment we turn into a command economy. I was born in the Soviet Union, and the idea that government can run any aspect of our lives is a chilling one. Hello, 1984!
PS: Please look
Dear Honorable FINRA Reulators,
I have over thirty years of investing experience and I am very capable of understanding the risks of leverage and inverse funds in my portfolio. Please do not handicap my investing choices by placing unnecessary limitations, testing etc. on my investment decisions which include leveraged and inverse funds. Thank you for your consideration to not put restrictions
Do not regulate or ban these trading options for investors. Investors would lose an edge if these funds were banned.
Every day, from all points of the compass I get pleas from every imaginable organization you can possibly think of to write a letter to help them try to fend off more insane regulation born of incestuous maniacal authoratarian power grabs.
The one that produced this letter to you is no different so the message to you is no different either.
KNOCK IT OFF!!! Cease and desist with manic regulation
I am upset to hear about the possibility that this investment possibility is possibly going to be restricted, especially if a basis used would be net worth. There is enough class separation in the US already. Removing opportunities from those with LESS money is horrible.
Please stop adding more government regulation burdens. The cost to investors greatly exceeds any benefit. I am an investor. Assessing risk is what I do. I don't need or want any help from the government.
More government, higher cost of government, higher taxes is just the opposite of what investors need.
