The people who are trying to stop those who are investing in leverage d etfs. Are not concerned about me. They simply want to control me. It is true you can lose a lot of money. Or make a lot. But if you find to right opportunity and are refused well then I'll look for another country to move to. That means less tax money for the the people who refuse me.
Dear regulators, The use of public leveraged and inverse funds should be my and other investors' decision and not be restricted. They are very useful as part of an investment strategy. Investors are more than capable of understanding their risks and a special process like passing a test is unduly burdensome and unnecessary.
These leveraged instruments, although risky, with the right timing can provide wonderful hedges to the valuation of one's portfolio.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to My investment strategies. I use leverage and inverse funds, to protect (hedge) My investments or seek enhanced returns, and I use them as a limited part of My overall portfolio.
I sincerely OPPOSE any potential Interference by FINRA Regulators on my ability to invest in public investments such as leveraged and inverse funds. I use these funds to protect (hedge) my investment portfolio as well as to grow it as I see fit over the long term. PLEASE do not restrict my constitutional rights to use my money for any legal purpose which includes INVESTING in the public
I oppose the regulation that requires extra testing before I can invest my own money. It is my money. I understand fully when I signed up to be my own trader. I take full responsibility. I do not appreciate the extra steps you are forcing me to do before I can invest in my future. Are there risks? Of course! However, that is for me to decide.
These regulations will restrict the markets ability to determin the appropriate price for a fund. That is what the market is for - to determine the appropriate price based on the value of an investment and hopes and fears of investors. These proposed regulations will restrict the market's agility to do that. A down turn will be deeper and last longer with these regulations and will hurt
This reeks of a solution seeking a problem.
No more regulations! Let our already over-inflated stock market recover.
