This regulatory notice goes against everything that the United States is founded upon. Freedom to pursue life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness as long as its no danger to others. What investment fund I choose to place my own hard working money in is my own choice. Even If I lose my money, it was my own adult autonomous decision I made to do so, no regulatory body should be able to restrict me
I have my own advisors and I resent government trying to tell me how to invest
The use of inverse and leveraged funds is an important instrument allowing me to be able to keep the majority of my portfolio goals long term. They support my returns during volatility and many times have greatly enhanced my returns over a short period of time. I use them sparingly, yet they ARE VERY IMPORTANT in my strategies. Buyer beware is in every aspect of our lives, those who get burned
Please do not limit/restrict my and other investors' access to L&I Funds or disqualify us from trading L&I Funds or other "complex products".
I do have a strong understanding of the characteristics and risks of L&I Funds, and that understand that their purpose is for short-term active trading, and that they should be monitored
I have been active investor for over 20 years and have successfully managed my SEP IRA and investment accounts during that time. I should not be required to take any tests to invest in any stocks including leveraged and inverse funds. In particular, leveraged and inverse funds allow me to take advantage opportunities using less capital as well as hedge risk. Please do not restrict and/or make it
Don't take away our investing rights!! I can make my own decisions. I don't need government telling me what I can and can't invest in. That's an insult to my investing intelligence. I know when something is risky. I use leveraged and inverse funds as a part of my investment strategy and I use them sparingly and wisely. Let me decide!
I know the risks of leveraged and inverse funds. I use them to enhance my portfolio. I'm an educate person, and do not need someone telling me what I can or can't do with my investments. I don't need to take a test.
I am very capable of managing my money!
I urge you, beg you really, not to move forward with these proposed regulations. My wife and I are retired, and depend on our investment income. I have been successfully investing in equity markets for decades now and leveraged funds have played a crucial role in that. I consider myself knowledgeable and experienced and am well aware of the risks involved. I strongly feel that I should be able to
Dear FINRA-
United States of America if a free country free to practice the faith you choose, free you to move where you want to live and make a legal living. Please keep your hands off, I should be able to choose what investments are right for me and my family.
