You should not limit the options for investing that your constituents, after careful consideration, make a decision to move forward with. Everyone deserves the same choices. Why would you want to discriminate? Enforce transparency to instill good decision making.
I've been investing in "complex" securities for decades, don't tell me I don't know what is right for me and my family.
I am not a child, and am fully capable of making my own decisions about investing, just like I can buy my own house, car, and insurance. I don't need regulators telling me how to invest. I am fully aware of all the risks. I have been investing in leveraged ETFs for more than 15 years, and use them for hedging and for decreasing the amount I invest to get a similar result. Another
Please be advised that I oppose restrictions FINRA wants to impose on public investors. Leveraged & inverse funds are an important part of any diversified portfolio. I don't want to take any more tests since I studied for my Ph.D. in applied mathematics. However, I do believe leveraged and inverse funds should reveal their advantages and disadvantages.
I use leveraged and inverse funds under certain circumstances. For instance, Im long TBT because it's designed to go up twice as fast as the 20-year treasury bond price goes down. I believe
Please stop this madness!!
I am strongly opposed to the proposed legislation that would restrict investors access to leveraged funds. The warnings and disclosures currently in place ensure that investor understand what they are getting in to.
