I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST !! I don't agree with having to pass a test before investing in securities. I'm am quite capable of understanding the funds and their risk. Public investments should be available to all and not a chosen few!
Inverse ETFs are important to my investing strategy. Specifically, being able to invest in inverse bond ETFs allows me to hedge against changing interest rates. I think the proposed restrictions should not be put in place.
It is still a free country and full disclosure is mandated! Please let us average investors have tools to make money.
Why let the institutions have tools AND advantages with high speed trading and front running us with pay for order flow!!!
I oppose any regulations that limit my freedom to invest. As an investor, it should be my decision to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my overall investment strategy as they can be used as a hedge to protect my other investments.
I'm outraged and terrified that FINRA would consider putting restrictions on leveraged and inverse investment vehicles. These are extremely valuable tools that I use to achieve the market exposure I want to have. Without these I would need to use other methods which would incur more costs, present more risk to me, and be less tax efficient. I've worked too hard in my career to
The proposed regulation of leveraged and inverse funds is a radical reach by a government agency to limit our freedoms! The tests, getting approvals, required reading, etc., are an insult to investors who use these investment vehicles as a part of their portfolio. To regulate these so that only the privileged few have access is discriminatory to say the least! This needs to be stopped in its
FINRA, Please consider maintaining leveraged and Inverse funds and ETFs as viable investment tools for retail investors. Proshares and Fidelity always advice about the risk associated on using this products and I am full aware that this are short term investment products and as such they must be monitored frequently.
I have successfully used leveraged and inverse etf's and mutual funds for years and I would strongly disagree with any government entity restricting my freedom of investment choices, limitations or special conditions being met in order to trade.
Please do not limit the ability of retail investors to participate in the same markets that are helping the wealthy become even more wealthy.
Dedicating resources to fraud prevention (and prosecution) would be a much better use of resources.
I would like to let the FINRA Regulators know that I would appreciate you not changing the rules of investing in leveraged funds. I have been successful in my past investments with Proshares TQQQ. If you change the regulations you would be depriving me of my livelihood. I also have a large amount of money invested in TQQQ at this time and if you change the rules you could cost me a lot of money.
