Hello, I have been investing in leveraged inverse funds for as long as they have been around. I fully understand the risks and use them only as very short term hedges. They have been a very important tool in enabling me to dampen volatility of my returns over the years, and as a result I have achieved a very respectable Sharpe ratio.
Please do not make me jump through hoops to use them.
Thanks
I not regulators should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for you and your family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged.
I shouldn't have to go through any special process
like passing a test before you can invest in public securities.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to your
investment
Let me buy whatever I want. Limiting it this to just the wealthy is proof that our democracy is just an oligarchy.
Dear Sir,
I am just learned that my right to freely invest my money in the leveraged product might be taken away by the regulations. This is not acceptable. As intelligent investor we know our risk and reward calculations. Do not do the in the name of protection of investors. Keep your hands off my money and my options to investing it
Prospectus is clear and concise. Products like TQQQ are behaving exactly as expected. No additional regulation is necessary.
Going through any special process like passing a test will be a great burden to me since I am 72 years old.
For numerous reasons I am opposed to any regulations that makes it more onerous on an individual to make any investments of their choosing whether they may be individual securities or leveragred funds.
I strongly oppose any regulation limiting my choice in public or private investments. There should be no 'test' to invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of making my own financial decisions, and reject additional government interference regarding my finances. I implore you to not impose additional measures prohibiting my decision to invest
The government should not be adding more burdens/hurdles to managing ones finances. We do not need more red tape or more paternalism from the government preventing investors from having access to funds such as these. And given the risk of these funds are lower than a large number of stocks the investor might otherwise buy (or such legislation might drive more investors into options) this will
I cannot believe in the United States that we would be limited in what we can invest in the stock market. I could believe it if it was Russia but it's not. I have an MBA an engineering degree, a pilot's license and I'm scuba certified. I think I'm smart enough and I should be able to invest my own money the way I want it to be invested
