Comments: This is wrong. Limiting access to financial instruments to the wealthy and having them pass a special set of requirements will further drive the wealth gap in this country, and is wholly undemocratic. People should be able to invest as they please, gain and lose their own money as they please.
America is the land of the free. The idea that certain financial instruments should be denied to all but a few that are allowed past some form of gatekeeper is glaringly unAmerican and unconstitutional. I urge you to protect our rights to purchase leveraged and inverse ETFs. Thank you.
The small individual investor should be entitled to invest in the same instruments as the very wealthy. The divide between the wealthy and the rest of the population is growing exponentially. You have a responsibility to all citizens to be able to make investments that help increase one's financial worth.
This regulation divides people on purpose, to keep ordinary people out of investing opportunities that would enrich them financially. It allows the mega wealthy to keep control of creating market volatility, with them deciding as large share holders, when the boat needs rocked!!
This could potentially deny me the freedom to choose investments, like leveraged ETF's, that could help me achieve long-term financial security. I should be able to choose investments based on the long-standing disclosure-based system, without jumping through even more hoops.
Please don't deny me the freedom to choose investments that have helped me achieve long-term financial security. We know how to read. We know the risks and we also know the rewards.
Don't tie our hands...let us choose.
I strongly oppose placing limitations on my investments. This scheme by FIND A is misguided because of the potential had to investors attempt to reach longtime financial goals as well, and as usual, it is arbitrary and unworkable. A constant key feature of ANYTHING this government's oversight creates I its ineptitude
It's my money to lose. If I make a mistake and lose everything, too bad for me, I'll just retire later. My loss is somebody else's gain. This change doesn't benefit anybody except by granting financial service providers a monopoly on access.
I should be able to make my own decisions about investments. I have used leveraged ETFs for more than five years now to build my wealth. It should not be a tool simply for financial professionals or the wealthy. Do not infringe upon our rights.
I believe any attempt to restrict/regulate this kind of investing is insulting and must be stopped. If Im old enough to earn the money I invest, I should remain completely free to invest it how ever I want. Keep the government out of my private financial decision making!
