Writing this to let you know that I oppose the restrictions being considered to leveraged and inverse funds.
I like having these funds available to help with risk mitigation of my stock portfolio and to take measured exposure to offset growing inflation costs.
I am familiar with the inherent risks of using these funds and don't want to be forced to take a test to continue to use them
Please do NOT disrupt the market at this time. The market can not take another hit through unnecessary regulatory actions.
Thank you
Yuju Su
The ability to use leveraged ETF’s allows me to hedge my downside risk without having to open an options account. The decay on these products against the ability to gain access to leverage is relatively balanced. Don’t pull retails ability to hedge downside risk on the cheap; particularly with the Fed raising interest rates until something breaks to try to create some level of demand destruction
Public shouldnt be forced to go through several process to get clearance etc to invest in leveraged funds. THis type should be available or public and not just ultra rich and institutional investors.
We should be able to chose how we want to invest our own overly-taxed income however we chose.
All people should heve the right to buy dozens of popular public investments, including leveraged and inverse funds.
This should not be limited to certain individuals. I agree that indivudual investors or their broker should know how funds work prior to investing in these.
This securities are a critical hedge for bad times!
I've been using leveraged products with great success for many years. At times I lose money and most of the time I make money. I absolutely know the pros and cons of using leverage. Please don't limit my ability to build my assets by prohibiting my access to these products.
I oppose this ruling as a retail investor because I have responsibly been trading leveraged funds for multiple years without additional risk. I feel this ruling imposes totalitarian control on my money and limits my freedom as a private citizen. If this ruling isn't stopped now, additional constraints on investing for the normal populace will continue to be incurred without reason.
