I have the rights to choose public investments that are right for myself and any restrictions to trading takes away those rights.
I'm also a seasoned investor capable of understanding leveraged and inverse trades and their risks. The leveraged and inverse funds are important to my trading strategy.
Hence I am against any regulartory restrictions on leveraged trades by common investors.
I'm fully aware of the risk involved with leveraged trades. That's why I put effort into the research I perform. I DO NOT need the Government "looking out for my best interest ". I love the freedom of investing outside of my TSP. This love diminishes with every regulation that aims to lookout for us unaccredited investors
Please do not implement these regulations. I am knowledgeable and can make my investment choices.
I want to retain the same option to buy and sell any equity, stock, etf ,mutusl fund, etc. at my sole descrition that I currently enjoy.
Please stay out of it! Ticker SSO has changed my financial life for the better (from a six figure to a seven figure net worth.)
You not regulators should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for you and your family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged.
I was disappointed to hear about this potential change. I have been investing in the public markets for 20 years. Although I do not have a degree or certification in finance, I feel I am knowledgeable enough to invest in both leveraged and inverse funds. I feel strongly that the decision to invest in leveraged funds should be my decision, and not the regulators. And certainly, there is enough
I am strongly opposed to the FINRA's misguided proposed regulations. This absolutely irresponsible regulation would clearly hurt investors by denying me the ability to choose investments that could help me and my family achieve long term financial security. It would also upend our regulatory system by giving regulators the right to decide what public securities that I can invest in and
I think changing the way things are done now to the way you plan on doing will hurt us small investors more then you realize. Things were gong along smoothly enough up to now and this change will just muddy up things.
Social security is not going to provide enough in my retirement. I need the same advantages as Wall Street to hedge against turbulent downsides to the market to have a fighting chance to preserve my nest egg. Please dont just help Wall Street. Help Main Street too.
