A free and fair public market is critical to the economic and social survival of our country. In the United States, all Americans are free to choose which investments we wish to take part in. Independence and self reliance are the foundational principles of which makes America the greatest country on Earth. Leveraged equities are an incredibly powerful tool which even casual retail investors can
I want to continue using my ability to purchase public investments of different kinds and vigorously oppose any restrictions by the regulators.
I want to be able to choose the public investments I think are right for me. The regulators have to respect this right whether I am a small time investor and not a privileged one/entity. With my choice sometimes can have a negative consequence- BUT i will own it since it is my choice
Dear FINRA,
While it is understandable that you have the interest of investors on mind, it is not fair to restrict investment opportunities to accredited investors and high net worth individuals. This will end up in rich getting richer and poor staying poor. Retail investors do educate themselves before picking investments whether stocks ETFs or leveraged products. Definitely better than gambling
The proposed regulations will add obstacles for ordinary citizens like me to invest freely. Individuals know the best how to invest for themselves and their families, not the regulators, not even the brokers. Leveraged funds are very important to my investment strategies. I don't think these measures will help me or the public other than adding more burdens and cost.
I oppose restrictions to my investments. I should have the right to choose investments of my choice. Please do NOT remove these products.
Thanks
Im capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and the risks of investing and such funds and I do not need measures restrictions imposed, hedge funds help me and had protect my investments and portfolio and returns always do it responsibly
I am opposed to restrictions on my ability to trade in publicly traded hedge or derivative funds.
I am of age and use these types of investments as a very small part of our family investments, but they allow me to participate in the market during economic periods of change without liquidating my long-term holdings.
A simple and straightforward note or warning would be sufficient to alert
I do not want these changes. I do not want to lose my right to invest in these funds! I'm not a child! I do not need to pass a test to have the RIGHT to purchase whatever funds and securities I want!
I should be able to choose the investments I deem appropriate for myself without the need to go through a government defined process to purchase those investments. I use different investments to hedge my investments and seek enhanced returns.
There is no way FINRA should be allowed to tell me what investments are "appropriate" for me!
