I believe it is I alone, and not regulators who should be ablel to choose those public investments which I deem right for me and my family. I am fully capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks and accept total responsibility for my actions.
It's especially important regulators hear from you in your own words. Please use the body of this email to customize your response. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. They help me manage risk and profit during periods of volatility such as we have experienced in the past few years. I see no valid reason to restrict the use of such instruments in any manner.
I like investing/ trading pro shares. All retail investors know trading has considerable risk and its our choice to trade. I dont believe the freedom to trade pro shares should be taken away from retail investors.
I oppose proposed restrictions on the use of leveraged investment products. I use them in a balanced portfolio which minimizes risk yet enhances returns. Individual investors are unable to access borrowed funds easily and these products offset that disadvantage.
Thank you.
To whom it may concern,
I have been investing in leveraged funds for several years and appreciate the opportunity to do so. I understand the risks of these investments and have accepted their performance. I fear that limits placed on these investments will reduce the freedoms of all but the wealthiest investors.
I feel an investor should be able to make their own investments no matter what they are based on the homework and risk tolerance they have.
I, not reguators should make this decision.
I should not have to go through any special process before investing in these securities also.
Please do not limit the ability of investors to participate in their own financial and investment decisions. It is always clear that investment carries risk, and leveraged and inverse funds are no different. I strongly oppose any limitation on investors ability to determine their own investment plan.
I feel it is important for an individual investor to choose investments that are right for them, this includes leveraged and inverse funds that can greatly benefit an investor and provide enhanced returns, I am perfectly capable to understand the associated risks. Investment choices should not be restricted.
Leveraged and inverse ETFs are an important option for individual investors. They are NOT difficult to understand. Individual investors should have access to be able to both attempt to enhance returns and to hedge investments.
Equity investments in general are risk assets and do not have guarantees.
