Please leave the ETF investment choices as is. I use inverse and leveraged ETFs often. I understand how they work and use them as tools to reach goals. When used correctly they can actually reduce risk
Thank You,
I love these instruments and this would be a shame if it ended. Investors know the risk involved in these funds. That's why we put money in them and use them wisely to our advantage. This is another way for the SEC to hurt the little guys.
As an individual investor, it is important to me to be able to invest in leveraged and inverse products to design and manage my retirement investment portfolios to minimize risk and drawdown over long-term economic periods. Please continue to allow these products to be accessed.
I have a brokerage account at Fidelity M & R. They require each customer to specify their risk tolerance in advance. That
provides sufficient screening for an individual investor like myself to take an ETF position with or inverse to an industry sector or the market, whether it is leveraged or not.
Instead of restricting people from using leveraged instruments, work on educating people on the advantages and disadvantages. It is our money at risk, and we should not be restricted because a handful of individuals got clobbered using a use these tools.
leverages and short ets serve the small investor as a useful abd efficient tool to hedge risks. these options were not available until the advent of etfs. the rights of the small investor to benefit from these tools needs to be preserved.
I believe investors should be allowed to invest in complex products and options regardless of the level of their net worth as long as they have an understanding of the products and the risk involved. I oppose limiting these investment opportunities to only high net-worth individuals.
Inverse ETFs are a valuable tool that help retail investors hedge long exposures without the complexities and risks of using put options. Please do not limit our access to these vehicles. Thank you for your consideration.
The Government should not be over stepping their power by restricting us from investing in the way we choose. We know the risks and are able to make our own choices. We need to have all the options on the table.
This is insane. If I want to take on a large risk profile who are you tell me what to invest and not invest into. This is borderline communism not letting me pick and choose where to place my money in a free and open market
