I oppose restrictions to my RIGHT TO INVEST.
As a small personal investor, having free access to all investment options is important to me! Things like this should not be limited to the large investment firms. That just serves to further divide investors, keeping small investors down, and allowing large firms to have unfair advantages
I disagree with the notion that only high net worth investors should be qualified for leveraged ETF products. While you are seemingly attempting to protect unsophisticated investors from having to deal with losses, you are simultaneously broadly removing investors with a higher risk profile whom understand the risks, from participating. Discrimination masked as protection in other words.
I should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for me and my family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged.
Why are you taking my right to choose which investments I can invest in? I have a physical disability that restricts my movements so I spend 6 - 10 hours most days researching investment vehicles. Anyone who buys TQQQ or SQQQ know exactly what they are buying, how they work and how important it is to limit your exposure with stop limits.
I am very concerned about the proposed regulations on complex products that could potentially put restrictions on the very important investment tools of leveraged and inverse funds. We as individual investors should have unrestricted access to any public investment of our choice. These investment tools provide critical means of balancing one's assets to maximize gains and minimize
Please let everyone invest and do not put limitations!
Stop trying to save everyone from the consequences of their decisions. Every investment has risks. Investing is all about risk management, and inverse and leveraged etfs are very useful in not only magnifying returns, but also as insurance. Please do not make it harder for average investors like me to manage portfolio risk.
Focus first on better disclosures for mutual funds and make a simplified prospectus. And make investors read something about leveraged funds that explains risks, but don't over regulate it pls
Please do not limit my ability, and right, to invest in inverse and leveraged funds. These are tools that are instrumental for balanced, and universal trading. I understand short positions and their risks.
