Regarding inverse and leveraged funds and other similar investments: I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me without a bunch of hurdles and money grabs.
Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
Don't limit our choices for investments. Our money, our choice.

I oppose the various impositions and restrictions on my ability to invest that are being proposed in Regulatory Notice #22-08.

The public is capable of doing their own research. There is plenty of information in the prospectus for people to make their own decisions.
You are trying to eliminate a way for everyone to attempt to take advantage of large swings in the markets. Leaving the opportunity for only large and very sophisticated investors. Although you should be sophisticated if you are investing in these funds, you may not want to take the time to replicate the options &/or futures involved with the fund.
First of all, thank you for letting me know about this. I know enough about leveraged and inverse funds and am constantly dealing with their risks. And I am constantly striving to acquire for a lot of knowledge and information. Therefore, I oppose any restrictions or other testing measures on my investment rights.
