Investors should be doing their own due diligence and be responsible for their own investment decisions. These investment products help people reduce risk by hedging and diversifying other positions.
It's my money I am investing. Not yours. Why do you have a say in what I invest in? How is this protecting me? I understand all risk involved.
Quite simply put - my money, my choice. Keep your hands off of my personal investment strategy - I understand the risks and don't need a babysitter.
As a long time investor, I should be able to decide for myself how much risk I want to take in my investments. It is no benefit to make things more difficult for everyone.
Markets need to be allowed to function freely. There are few products that allow individual investors to hedge risk in the marketplce. Please do not meddle for "our protection". Thanks GCP
I am not confused about Direxion, and ProShares levered and inverse ETFs. I use them without worrying about the risks to margin trading and educated about the products volatility.
Each person should be able to choose the public investments and risks that are right for him and his family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
Im opposed to FINRA putting regulations on trading proshares. People who risk their money understand the lessons and can learn from the market volatility and stability. Thanks
I oppose restrictions to my right to invest. Alternative investment options are a very important part of a diversified portfolio. I should be allowed to invest after accepting disclaimers that the investments are high risk.
This is good, regulation is required since option trading is being misused and retail investors are taking way more risk than they should, potentially adding to the stock market volatility
