Allow leveraged investment products.
I use leveraged and inverse funds to offset other trades I'm making all the time. Please do not take them away from all us people who are trying to make enough to retire without having to work well into our seventies. This should not be something you decide. It should be up to the Investor, not someone who has no idea what is best for someone else.
I purchased a leveraged and inverse fund to play the rise in interest rates. I looked at the alternatives, decided how much risk I was comfortable taking, and purchased a 2X fund which has done very well in a time of rising interest rates. While I may not be rich, I am educated and quite capable of making decisions. Banning these investments smacks of authority limiting my ability to make
I need access to the leveraged and inverse funds to make my self-management of portfolio competitive with institutional investors. Without access to these funds, you would essentially be making it unfair for me to compete with large houses on management of my portfolio. Little guy loses here.
Against. Unreasonable to take away. The govt does not know my finances or abilities better than I do. I must be able to choose how I invest.
If there are new restrictions on buying or selling such investments, that could be terribly punitive to current holders. We already saw huge unfairness when investors were restricted from buying GME last year. Let's not see that sort of mess again
We don not need regulations on public trading ita unnecessary and only hurts smaller investors
Do not limit my options to invest how I choose. Limiting my ability to invest, is essentially a government mandate that the individual is not allowed to stop producing for the 1%. Stop forcing the people to stay indebt by helping us with regulations and limits that prevent the working class from digging themselves out of indentured servitude.
I am vehemently opposed to restrictions on my right to invest in leveraged instruments. These leverage instruments help to hedge my portfolio. These restrictions are contrary to open markets and capitalism. It should be up to the investor to research and understand risks and not the nanny state! The investor and not the regulator should be the one to determine what kind of investment is right
I'm A Working-Mid Class, Blue Collar Guy. My Financial Investment Opportunities Could Implicate The Generational Stability Of Family And Loved Ones Present And To Come. Don't Allow Financial Regulations To Adversely Impose On Such Longterm Ambition While Cushioning The Pot Toward The Benefit Of Others Situated To Fleece Multi-Billion Corporations And Enterprise.
