I should be allowed to choose whatever investment vehicles I wish. It is my money to do with as I choose. Every investment comes with a certain amount of risk (even cash especially at current inflation rates).
Please do not restrict my freedoms to invest based upon things controlled by others who seek to allow less access.
I oppose restrictions to my right to invest complex in cryptocurrency funds or any other pubic restrictions or licensing.
I believe current rule and regulation is sufficient for individual investors to be able to able to invest in their on choice in leveraged funds. I am for the level playing field for the public in the investing and trading world.
Comments: I am a quant oriented investor. I have been using index based, 2x and 3x, long leveraged ETFs in my retirement account. I think these types of leverage isn't as complex, and should be allowed to trade. Simply put, they are really a form of expressing Kelly Criterion on an index in which it's long term performance and volatility is well understood by quantitative oriented
The opportunity to allow people to give their money a chance to work for them should not be restricted. People should have the right and opportunity to invest.
I employ a mix of stocks, and both leveraged and non-leveraged ETFs to achieve investment goals for over 10 years. ETFs provide a facile means to establish both long and short positions when markets reach extreme levels. Non availability of inverse and leveraged ETFs would make establishing planned portfolio positions difficult, if not impossible.
I getting tired of branches of government creating new ways of making life harder to get ahead. For retirement, short and long term investment and more. Every time something new trickles down to us common people to better ourselves you decide to regulate the hell of it.
