I not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. Regulators you do not need impose measures like passing a test to invest in these products imposed on me
I want the ability to make money like the Wall Street elites.
These are tools used by professionals, ie "rich and powerful". By taking away these tools, it is allowing only the rich and powerful to make money and profit.
That is not a level playing field.
This is silly. Adults can make their own choices to buy or not to buy certain types of investments. l rarely buy leveraged funds, but I DO on occasion, and I do not want my right to buy them to be subject to some regulation that regulators think I need to protect me. I protect myself by reading up on investments before buying them.

It is the right of every citizen to be able to choose their own investments. It is insulting to have to get approval, tested to make an investment.The last thing needed is more goverment control in our lives.

Leveraged funds can have a place in any investment portfolio . One use case I use them for is to help make trades easier in a cash structured account. Sometimes waiting for funds to settle means missing out on a trade due to the 2 day wait period.
