I would like to ask that you not restrict investment in leveraged or inverse funds to a select few who meet certain standards.

I would request regulators to let people invest freely in inverse and leveraged funds. Leverage is important to amplify profits and it should be up to individual to make that choice. Maybe if you need to regulate we can ask brokerages to double confirm each time trade is placed
A democratic government should not second-guess the competency or plans of private citizens in their financial strategy. Are we going to be told how to dress and what we can eat next? Money is involved - people know they need to be careful. Any restriction will be government overreaching. We are not a totalitarian state - what other rights have become "negotiable"?
These restrictions should not be implemented. Free markets need to be maintaned for all.
I oppose restrictions to my right to invest. I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me. I believe that it is an investors right to freely access the entirety of the public securities markets without the discriminatory restrictions being considered in these regulations.
Inverse funds are a great option to hedge against other family assets and liabilities. We utilized ProShares UltraShort 7-10 Year Treasury to hedge against rising interest rates for debt that needs to be refinanced in the near future. This was a well thought out and planned strategy, that has worked perfectly. Once the debt is refinanced we would look to liquidate the ProShares UltraShort 7-10
Let the investors make their decisions on investments. Inverse funds provide protection against losses.
People understand products better than you think. Let those who want to take additional risk in funds choose to do so. You should not be regulating public access to such items. Individuals can choose to invest in their own business which is just as risky (if not much more) as these public funds. You aren't preventing that?? It's up to an individual investor to decide which investments are right for them. I am capable of understanding and using leveraged and inverse funds. I use them ALL the time. Please allow the free market to stay free of unnecessary regulations

Public investments should be available to all of the public,
