I have been investing for over 50 years. I have thoroughly investigated leveraged and inverse funds and I have used them for over 10 years. I resent being told what I can and cannot do with my funds. While I agree that they are not for everyone, they do serve a purpose and properly used, they can reduce volatility in a portfolio.
I don't think I should go through any sort of special
How is it a free market if you dont allow us to invest in what we want?
I should be able to freely choose the public investments I feel is right for me. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. I shouldn't have to go through any special processes just so I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. Regulators do not
Please do not regulate these funds too much to allow normal people to trade them
A regulator should not restrict the ability of a private investor to invest/trade any leveraged ETF nor should there be any restriction on shorting the market through an ETF.
Current buyers acknowledgment regarding the risks on leveraged ETF is sufficient.
You Regulators should not have the ability to restrict my investment strategies. Inverse etfs are the only way I can make money for my retirement when the market is down. You already restrict the amount of day trades I can make because I dont have enough money. Stay out of our investments!
I am adamantly against the proposed rule to end inverse and other similar products. During volatile market periods, these products have helped to protect my portfolio. Thank for the opportunity to express my viewpoint on this matter.
I should have the right to invest as I choose! I am an adult and can make my own choices!
I think I should be able to invest in any fund on the market. I get to choose the amount of risk I am willing to incur. Unless you Demonstrate high net worth! Sounds like another tool to allow rich to get richer and the poor even poorer!
