Public investments should be made by me and my family. I don't need more regulations and more government.
I oppose restrictions to my right to invest in leveraged and inverse funds. These instruments should be available to the public, and not just a privileged few. They are an important part of investment strategy that can help me hedge/ protect my stocks investments, and sometimes help me achieve enhanced returns when I use them as a limited part of my overall portfolio. I should not have to go
Regulate the institutions This law is unfair to investors. Americans should have the freedom to invest
I oppose the regulators deciding whether I can invest in leveraged or inverse funds. I am a retired investment adviser with 57 years of investment experience. My net worth is such that I am qualified for speculative investments. Markets should be free and not controlled by bureaucrats.
As an investor, I need to be able to choose to invest in Leveraged securities such as TQQQ and UPRO. There is considerable backtests in SeekingAlpha and other sites to prove that they are very effective for investors. Please do not remove TQQQ, UPRO etc
Why on earth would a "regulatory agency" restrict the financial movements of the citizens they allegedly claim to protect? Better said, why do we have these regulatory agencies in the first place? You are restricting the movement of American people to prosper and invest as we see best. WE are responsible for our spending, our investing, and our losses. Keep your sticky fingers
To whom it may concern, All leveraged funds have a prospectus that is clear and easy to understand. So products like TQQQ are behaving exactly as expected. No additional regulation is needed at this time.
Please discontinue threats to our free market choice to invest in inverse leveraged options.
I highly value the ability to invest in levered and complex products. They are an important component of my self-directed portfolio. They allow me to access investment strategies that would be too difficult or impossible to replicate on my own. I use them primarily as a hedging/risk reduction tool. I believe strongly that preventing by regulation the ability of individual investors to invest
The definition of complex products is ambiguous and broad that makes it arbitrary and unworkable, thus possibly leading to unfair or discriminatory treatment of investors.
It unnecessarily restricts investors to choose products that they believe will lead to their desired financial independence and security.
