Stop trying to restrict my right to invest in whatever investment I feel is right for me as an American citizen . I am an adult and do not need the governments to make financial decisions about what I can and cannot invest in. Stay out of my financial affairs as they are not your responsibility to manage.
I am more than a little tired of smug government bureaucrats telling me what I can and can not do “for my own good”. The proposed regulations are arbitrary, capricious, and imperious. That some people lost money by purchasing certain investment products is unfortunate to be sure, but as with all things in life, the saying caveat emptor is applicable.
