You have no right to tell people what they can and cannot invest in. The understanding of the risks in leveraged and inverse indexes is known at the time of purchase. Each person is solely responsible for their own investments and risks. With each of these suggestions you erode any faith in a free market.
I am aware of the risks involved in leveraged and inverse funds. I use them to hedge my portfolio, not as my primary investment vehicle. I do not think I should need to take a test, or have a certain amount of assets to invest in these funds. The funds should be available to all investors. Existing disclosures are sufficient.
I, not regulators, should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
Hello, I am writing to strongly urge that you do not limit the ability for me and the retail investor to be able to invest, hedge, or trade using these important tools. Removing them would only further divide the uneven playing field between retail and professionals. This would further result in the view that only a select class gets to have access to certain tools and opportunities. Thank you
I use these investments tactically to hedge, and they have been very helpful in mitigating risk and improve returns. I really don't appreciate being treated like a child just because I'm not high net worth. People have a right to make their own decisions. Your only job is to inform people objectively and without hyperbole. Once people have agreed to the risks, it is their responsibility
I oppose restrictions to my right to invest
Every person should be able to choose the kind of investments that he considers right for him and his family. You shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before you can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds.
I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST
It could potentially deny the freedom to choose investments that could help you achieve long-term financial security.
I want to have the ability to make my own investment and I oppose any restriction on my right to invest in public investments
