The options for rich people to invest are already significantly more than everyone else, why would we restrict one more option. I understand what I'm doing in leveraged asset classes and the risks they contain.
I find it absolutely atrocious that regulators of a free and fair market would make it law/policy to tell Americans how they can and cannot invest. Im asking you not to create an even larger wealth gap between large investors and the every day Americans. We should all have the same investment choices.
Stay [REDACTED] out of the free market and look to regulate things that come under your review...like insider trading, not small investors like me...
Let people invest the way they want to invest so we can control our financial future
I am vehemently opposed to regulators restricting my ability to invest in leveraged and inverse funds. I have been using such funds for close to two decades -- they are an essential part of my investing approach, allowing me to preserve capital in down markets by investing in leveraged funds using less cash for the same amount of "firepower." Restricting my ability to invest in
why should i not be able to invest in inverse funds.its my money and it should not reserved for the rich
I oppose this proposed rule change. It restricts the freedom of retail investors to advance their finances while allowing high net worth individuals to take advantage of more leverage. Everyone should have the same financial tools available.
I strongly oppose restricting access to any public investments to those who already have significant financial and/or social capital. This is the sort of self-dealing that gives the financial industry the reputation of rigging the game in its own favor at the expense of retail investors. I personally use 3X leveraged funds to potentially enhance returns on a small portion of my overall portfolio

I have invested successfully in leveraged funds for years. They provide a means for me to have a portion of my portfolio very aggressively invested while keeping the bulk of it in less volatile investments and income producing investments. I do not need public servants who work for my government trying to protect me by restricting my investment choices or requiring me to receive training.
