Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies to help clients hedge risks and take advantage of opportunities. Many clients expect us to use leverage and inverse funds to protect investments and/or seek enhanced returns. I use them on a limited basis only with certain clients that agree or may request to use them as part of their overall portfolio. Thanks, Tony
I oppose any regulations that affect my choices on which funds I can buy. I am a responsible adult and make financial decisions for me and my family. Funds should be available for anyone to buy, not just the wealthy or privileged. I should not have to go through special processes or jump through hoops in order to buy funds that support my financial plan. I am capable of understanding leveraged
Don't be taking our FINRA away. I like the way it works
I do not support limiting the public from trading in any public investment or instrument. While I do think we need regulations from scams and ponzi schemes, legitimate risky investments should be allowed for everyone. It should be an investor's choice no different from the general public to lose all their money in buying state lottery tickets and gambling in general. We make sure
Dear FINRA,
I strongly urge you to let investors invest freely, the freedoms this country was founded on have enabled it to prosper. I currently am invested in many different places including accredited investments. Please do not add investment friction to the marketplace while taking away freedom!
I use the leveraged and inverse funds as important tools for me to hedge and speculate at the appropriate time to complement my stock portfolio. Over the years, I've learned the risks and rewards of these funds. There should be some minimal restrictions on the usage of public investments to protect new or beginner investors, but not experience investors. Thank you.
The proposed rule would be a huge misstep. Investing strategies which use leverage, especially leveraged exchange-traded funds should not be restricted to the rich, they should be available for every investor. Decades of investment research show that maximizing the efficient frontier using a diversified portfolio, such as stocks and bond funds, and applying leverage is superior to individually
I recently learned of Finra's interest in taking the choice of how an individual investor wants to invest away from them. Regulators should not have the ability to limit how an individual wants to invest his/her funds. There are already plenty of government regulations that limit how much we can invest in tax deferred options. The government should also not limit investment options to just
It is the right of the people to decide how and where to spend and invest their dollars. This was not and should not be the job of the federal government.
The proposed rule limits access to investments and and gives more power to unelected bureaucrats. I oppose these restrictions on the right of myself and others to invest freely.
Investment interests for the public, that correlates to a "We the people," not a we who want to capitalize on the many few.
Let US invest for our public commodity especially for things that are being imported.
