The fact that this proposed rule is even being considered is chilling. The USA has always lead the world by being the epitome of free market capitalism. Its a travesty that this anti-patriotic, anti-capitalist, authoritarian rule was even proposed. What a crying shame.

Limiting the general public's access to capital markets and leverage isn't the answer. Sounds like something a banana republic would do.
The restrictions that SEC is trying to impose is going to hinder the ability of common man to be able to use the money the way they want and goes against Capitalism. These restrictions will widen the gap between the rich and the poor. Hope that SEC doesnt proceed with these legislation.

I would hope that this rule regarding individual investors' access to "complex" investments was proposed with the best of intentions - to protect investors from tking on unnecessary risk. But it is not up to you to determine the level of risk that an individual investor is willing to take on - it is up to the investor, and the
