FINRA's attempt to limit my investment alternatives is an overreach. I've been investing in leveraged ETFs for several years. They are an integral part of my investment strategy. Leave me alone!
The stock market is a crap shot. Volatility has increased tremendously since the DOWN TICK RULE TO SHORT was removed. Whether you buy a leveraged/ inverse fund or NETFLIX, AMAZON, or commodities, they all go up and they all go down. THATS THE GAME. Diversity isnt working now either with bonds AND stocks trading lower. Thats the game.
You DO NOT have the right to tell me who and what I can invest in. That is MY decision.
I'm invested in a few products that I signed onto prior to prototype development. some of them needed the startup capital to build the prototype in the first place. Some only work within a full network of prototypes. Requiring testing limits creativity only to those with significant resources. This negatively affects investors and inventors and undermines prospective small business
I find it highly offensive that you feel you need to be BIG BROTHER about what I spend MY MONEY onthats like asking someone What color underwater they are wearing -
I do not believe anyone who does not understand leveraged and inverse funds invests in themFrankly I like the returns I have received and do not need your help or oversite.
Please dont stop ability to trade inverse, leveraged, or so called complex investments. We are not as dumb as you think. Thank you big brother
Rather eliminating the option to purchase and trade these securities why not require the fund creators to use a pre determined rate of proceeds to produce content and learning material that can present the risks to investors in an easy to understand way. The average retail investor is already extremely limited to the types of investments they can make and this will only exacerbate this problem
I deserve to invest without regulations, please...
I oppose these restrictions.
I'd like to still choose public investments like BITO
