I believe all short interest data should be released daily. Explain to me why everyone of my long position buys are documented daily and can be used against me to short by those that don’t have to disclose. I also don’t believe dark pools eliminate a free and equitable economic opportunity for everyone.
Please make synthetic short interest reporting hourly or daily. Please make short interest reporting transparent. Current reporting is not fair to individual investors!

I believe it would be in the best interest of retail investors to obtain real time FTD numbers from the SEC, considering the SEC has access to that themselves and could release it on a daily broadcast. It shouldn't be too hard considering FTD's are a rarity in the stock market according to SHO filings and SEC announcements
Yes, please impose mandatory reporting on short sale positions in real time. The short sellers have real time data of the shorts sold, that information should be public and current. There is no free market without a transparent market.
