I think leveraged ETF as a tool is crucial for investor to hedge their position
Please do not make any restrictions on leveraged or inverse investment opportunities. I have been in the investment world for twenty five years. These funds are important to my investment strategy. Please don't belittle the American public by assuming that we do not understand these funds. There are other, bigger investment problems in the world today. Thank you for your consideration
Dear FINRA, First of all, I am the owner of my own money. The regulators have no right AT ALL to make me go through certain process to make my own investment decisions. Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. I put part of my investment fund in TQQQ and UPRO on a regular basis as a long-term bet for the positive outlook of US economy. People would argue that TQQQ or
I totally object to limiting investors rights to invest in leveraged and inverse funds. I acknowledge the risks associated with this, educated about them, and stay on top of the current situations.
We should have the right to use inverse funds and leverage if we choose to as they provide hedges for market cyclicality. They also help to "make" markets. I've had an investment in inverse funds for years which has lost money but it hedges my other positions. Now if I'm force to sell these I'll loose all that potential value that I would gain back in
I oppose restrictions being placed on my rights to invest in the various investment options currently available. I trade in leveraged ETF's, inverse funds and other types of stocks, options, ETF's and mutual funds. I do not understand why restrictions should be placed on a free market place. I oppose you placing any restrictions on me and other investors.
Investment funds pool the money of many investors and invest according to a specific strategy. Funds come in various types, each with differing features. Generally, publicly offered funds — such as mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds and unit investment trusts — must be registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as investment companies.
I have had much success with leveraged etfs, and just like being leveraged in real estate, we should be allowed to take risk in the equity market for a greater return.
We should be able to invest where ever we want!!! It's American, Letts keep it that way
