Please do not restrict my ability to o invest in ProShares. they are a major corner stone to by future and my families future. Yes we understand the risk.
I oppose restrictions on my right to invest. Stay out of my business. I am fully capable of making investment decisions without the interference of government bureaucrats who have no idea of my life and what I can an can not do. Americans aren't stupid. Leave us alone to do as we please with our hard earned money. We have no need to pass some test simply to invest in public securities.
Regulating my right to invest in public investments in any way is akin to the Jim Crow laws. My gains or losses in leveraged funds is not FINRA's concern. Brokerage houses do an excellent job at warning of the risks involved with investing as well as offering tools and educational resources. Private citizens, regardless of wealth or education, should NOT be impeded in ANY WAY from
I appreciate the opportunity to comment on this proposed new rule/regulation.
I have held ProShares in one of my portfolios since early 2016. Symbol USD. This investment is up 742.06% and has split once 3:1 which tripled my shares. It has performed well in up and down markets. It has enhanced my returns in this portfolio. Here is its annualized returns 3yr 57.05%, 5yr 44.12%, 10yr 36.42%.

I am horrified and appalled that such a scam would even be suggested. There are trillions of dollars invested in leveraged and inverse etfs. In a bear market the inverse funds are the only things going up, as well you know. You cannot manipulate the market higher by effectively banning short selling, which is what this does. It will not work. As for me, if you institute these rules or anything
All the investors should be able trade leveraged ETFs without any restrictions or interference. It's not fair for investors who purchased ETF the end of last year then disable those at the bottom of the market.
It is important for regulators to know that my investments are my property, not the public's. And the purpose of my property is the pursuit of my own good, not the public's good. No citizen has the right to violate my property or delegate such right to any government. Regulating my investment in leveraged ETFs is violation of my property rights and will destroy my retirement.
Dear FINRA, I think it should be up to each person not the government to decide what investments are right for me. I understand the risks of leveraged & Inverse funds. So I only invest a small portion of my portfolio in these investments. Please don't take this investment choice away from anyone. Regina Green
I am opposed to the proposed FINRA regulations.
