Close dark pools and cancel shorting stocks it is unfair to retail investors and the companies that are going out of business. This system is rigged and unfair to the investors and worker. We demand change, how is this even possible? If it wasnt for the greed of SHF , the rest of the world would've never uncovered this.
My grandfater taught me how to invest to pay my way thru colledge. I have been very succcessful investing in the stock market especially QQQ & TQQQ ProShares. It has paid my way thru 3 years of school and I need it to continue. Let me invest the way I am used to.
I oppose any restriction that limits my right to invest. I have been investing in stock market since 1988 and have been able to make a living from my returns. I appreciate FINRA and the protections provided to the individual investor, but we do not need any additional restrictions regarding our investments.
I oppose restrictions to my right to invest in what I choose and why I choose it. I choose to invest in leveraged and inverse funds and have for several years as its a minor portion of my investing plan to offset smaller growth stocks. It seems unfair to put restrictions on my investing actions at this point in my investing.
There are many reasons to make trades via leveraged and inverse funds. Most importantly, leveraged funds such as SSO acts as a "blow off vent" so that people who are trying to chase returns (such as myself) can invest in the safer SSO instead of penny stocks and the such, which are de facto much more dangerous.
I use the leveraged and inverse funds as important tools for me to hedge and speculate at the appropriate time to complement my stock portfolio. Over the years, I've learned the risks and rewards of these funds. There should be some minimal restrictions on the usage of public investments to protect new or beginner investors, but not experience investors. Thank you.
I currently use inverse ETF's to hedge my retirement stock portfolio. As a result of this hedging during 2022 my portfolio has dramatically outperformed the overall market. I do not find these ETF's difficult to understand as they seem pretty straightforward to me. Please do not take this ability to hedge away from me.
I believe that these new regulations will help people. Many people don't understand anything about investing, and might put all of their money in one single stock, and lose it all.
Many people are not capable of understanding investment risks. I do not believe that "my rights will be taken away" if these regulations are made law. That is silly.
I have been actively investing in the stock market since 1985 and have followed the development of leveraged and inverse funds and ETFs as they progressed. I think the current requirements of the brokerage firms is adequate information to investors about these types of securities. I think no additional restrictions or regulations should be placed on my right to invest in these securities.
