I am well aware of the risks involved in trading leveraged and inverse ETFs.
PLEASE NOTE: I am staunchly OPPOSED to the US Government attempting to stifle or restrict in any way the availability of these financial products for the general public via retail trading platforms or otherwise.
Although I have a small portfolio compared to an investment firm or a hedge fund. I do understand the importance of hedging my investment with pro shares. Im well aware of the risks associated with all investments and I see no harm in continuing my decisions to do so.
I want the ability to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. I do not want to be limited or restricted from buying leveraged and inverse funds. I am a well informed investor, and it is not right to restrict my investment options and allow others to have full access.
I oppose the proposed restrictions to leveraged and inverse funds as well as other investment strategies that are considered "risky." The primary reason I use options are to minimize my risk because I have to invest in the market. Let the buyer beware and suffer or reap the rewards of their own investment decisions.

Comments: Please do no limit access to leveraged funds. I use them extensively, and they are excellent trading products. For those that are not familiar with them, there are excellent precautions in place by brokerages, including the requirement to read and sign information about the risks, as well as a risk statement with every trade.
I use leveraged and inverse funds routinely and have done very well, so long as I hedge leveraged stock funds with leveraged bond funds. Having back-tested rules to guide the balancing is key. Please do not interfere with my attempts to improve my model.
I am 63 years old and well versed in the use of leveraged investment tools and wish you would find something else to waste your time on. For the uninformed investors they will learn like I did and no legislation will stop some people from making poor decisions
It is vital that I have access to inverse funds (not leveraged inverse funds) to manage my personal asset allocation. I managed money professionally for 25 years and am well aware of the attendant risks. Please do not restrict my ability to use these investment vehicles! Thanks....
