Been trading for 14 years no changes needed.
Investors, not regulators should be able to choose what is right for their portfolios.
Inverse and leverage securities have already been approved and listed, with significant amounts of disclosure and educational material easily available.
Changing who can invest after these have been listed is not acceptable and can adversely impact existing ETF holders.
I know and accept the risks involved with leveraged funds. It should be my personal choice to invest in these funds. I fully oppose any more regulation on a free market system.
Why would my investment options and rights be limited
This proposal is just another attempt to restrict the options, retail investors have to invest in the market. Large institutions have always had a clear advantage, privy to information first, flash trading etc. Restricting retail investor's ability to short or long the markets using these types of vehicles is, once again giving the institutions the upper hand in playing in a field they
Dear Finra, I believe this is government overreach and investors should have the right to purchase or sell any securities they wish with their hard earned money. Please leave people to live their lives in peace while pursuing happiness and success in life.
