I, not regulators should dictate what type of investment and type of investment availability to the public that are suitable for me and my family. Therefore regulations should not be an obstacle to freely invest in our democratic society. What regulators should have done is to tell investment institutions to spell out the purpose of the fund in plain English & to the point.
