Upcoming Enhancements to FINRA’s OTC Transparency Data Statistics

On November 5th, 2022, FINRA will be modifying the Statistics data on the OTC Transparency Data website to enhance the amount of information that is available to its users. Currently, there are two Statistics tabs, one each for ATS and Non-ATS data. Each tab contains aggregated share and trade counts for CTA, UTP and OTCE securities. Moving forward, the two tabs will be combined into one and will be reorganized to display ATS, Non-ATS & Total OTC data by Product (CTA, UTP & OTCE) as well as by Report Tier (Tier 1, Tier 2, NMS & OTCE). FINRA will also be adding new data points, including average trade size data for each category. Additionally, users will now have the option of selecting either weekly or monthly data statistics with a rolling six (6) months of history.
